Climbing

The Massif of Tsaranoro in Andringitra has already confirmed its place as one of the most sought after climbing spots in the southern hemisphere.

A number of international newspapers have already opened their columns to this site which offers a range of cliffs of various levels and difficulties, and where granite is of exceptional quality. Added to that, one must highlight perfect weather condition 9 months a year, and a beautiful landscape.

At the other extremity of the island, the Mountain of the French, dominating the Bay of Diego Suarez, is northwest oriented, which protects its 2 spots from the winds. The best season for climbing there is June through September.
