Less than two hours from Antananarivo, the tour leads to the drastic falls of Andriamamovoka through typical villages of the highlands overlooking the rice paddies. First step in a circuit several days before tackling the East Coast.

Moramanga is a historic town that has a National Museum of the gendarmerie and remains driven by the flow of rickshaws. Of this city, it is nice to take a train towards Lake Alaotra to discover important rice fields and the banks of the largest lake in Madagascar, which houses the Bandro. The aquatic Bandro is a lemur who takes refuge in areas that surround the lake and its islands. Some will visit Zahamena National Park World Heritage Site by UNESCO to meet the propithecus diadema, beautiful orange peel lemur. They will continue by way of the smugglers in a few days and many bivouacs, up the east coast. Unique experience and adventure guaranteed.

Discovery of the National Park of Andasibe-Mantadia is much easier and comfortable. This jewel of the region owes its reputation to the largest lemur, the indri-indri or babakoto. Its screams echo varied but always impressive, day and night, throughout the forest and its surroundings. Exceptional performance of the discovery of entire families and their young within vegetation where pandanus tree ferns and try to capture some rays that manage to intrude between the dense foliage.
